From the pandemic’s outset, our Oklahoma Policy Institute team recommended and evaluated fact-based policy solutions that could address our new reality, especially for those who could least afford its economic disruption. • Prompt the state Department of Human Services to make major and needed adjustments to child care policy benefiting both parents and providers during COVID-19,
• Provide data-driven research and analysis for on-going justice reform efforts, and
• Create a real-time, online evictions tracker to call attention to our state’s growing evictions crisis.
