Advocacy Alert - Help Support Working Oklahomans (HB 1639)

The House Appropriations and Budget Finance - Revenue and Taxation Subcommittee could soon consider House Bill 1639, which would increase the amount of the Oklahoma Earned Income Tax Credit many low-income working families receive when they file their tax return. The state’s Earned Income Tax Credit — when taken in combination with the federal EITC — is a proven measure for supporting Oklahomans who are working in low-wage positions while also stimulating the economy. We need your help to help ensure this bill is heard in committee.
