Hello Friend, As 2022 draws to a close, we're reflecting on some of the powerful research and advocacy we did this year. OK Policy produced three reports covering transparency in the budget process, the youth criminal justice system, and how Medicaid expansion has affected the lives of Oklahomans. Our research resulted in over 60 articles covering our issue areas, including health care, housing, and criminal justice. Together Oklahoma, OK Policy's grassroots advocacy arm, met with Oklahomans across the state to discuss the issues that matter most. This year, we held nine listening sessions, and expanded these sessions to prioritize Native and womens' voices. Some of the highlights from these efforts include these blog posts: In 2023, we will continue our work to strengthen community connections and provide resources to assist everyday Oklahomans as they advocate for themselves and their community to ensure everyone can be healthy, safe, and thrive. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to working together in 2023 to make Oklahoma more equitable and prosperous for everyone. Sincerely, Your Friends at OK Policy |
