However, it hasn't been updated since then.    Legislative leaders can modernize the Sales Tax Relief Credit by increasing it from $40 to $200 per person per household, and they can increase the income limit so more families, seniors, disabled veterans, and people with disabilities would qualify.   This proposal delivers targeted support for Oklahoma taxpayers who need it most. Please contact your State Senator and State Representative now and ask them include modernizing the Sales Tax Relief Credit as part of next year's state budget.   Points to consider:  Nearly 4 in 10 households in Oklahoma would benefit from expanding the Sales Tax Relief Credit. The impact is even greater in many rural counties.
