Just 2 days left to get your tickets to OK Policy's gala event!

Dear Friend,

OK Policy's 10th anniversary gala dinner is a little more than one week away - and the last day to buy tickets is this Friday, September 7th.

Do you have your tickets?

For the past decade, we've been advancing better policy for all Oklahomans through research, education, and advocacy. Now we're getting together to celebrate with longtime supporters and new friends on Thursday, September 13th at the Oklahoma City Farmers Public Market. We will start with a reception at 6:00 pm, followed by dinner and the program at 6:45.

Seating is limited, so buy your tickets today!

We will honor two of Oklahoma's most distinguished public servants, Sandy Garrett and Kris Steele, with our Good Sense/Good Cents Award for their lifetimes of civic engagement based on respectful political dialogue, sound fiscal stewardship, and concern for the less fortunate. Kris Steele will be introduced by Governor Brad Henry and Sandy Garrett will be introduced by Chuck Garrett, Executive Vice-President of Cherokee Nation Businesses.

Our keynote speaker will be Ian Frazier, one of America’s leading humorists and feature writers. Frazier became a staff writer for The New Yorker magazine in 1974. There and in other magazines he publishes humor pieces, essays, and longer works of reporting. His books include Great Plains, On the Rez, and Travels in Siberia; his collections of humor pieces, Coyote v. Acme and Lamentations of the Father both won the Thurber Prize for American Humor (1997 and 2009). He is the only writer to have won the prize twice.

Get your tickets today!

For those attending from the Tulsa area, there will be free bus transportation. Click here to reserve your space or email skantz@okpolicy.org for details.

If you can't make it to the party, you can still support our work by making a donation in honor of our 10th anniversary.

We look forward to seeing you next Thursday!

Best,

David
