A high uninsured rate, high rates of mental illness and substance use disorder, and little access to care all mean too many of us aren't able to live up to our full potential. This year, our lawmakers have the opportunity to change that. By accepting federal funds to expand access to care, we can ensure that more than 100,000 Oklahomans can see a doctor, get the treatment they need for mental illness or substance use disorder, or just fill a prescription. After years of refusing to even consider using federal funds to expand coverage, there is finally a willingness among some lawmakers this session to take action - but they need to hear from you.
