Dear Friend, There are only two days left to submit a public comment on the Governor’s health care proposal. The Governor’s proposal will keep deserving Oklahomans from the health care they need. This plan — also known as SoonerCare 2.0 — is NOT full Medicaid expansion that is in SQ 802. SoonerCare 2.0 contains barriers to health care coverage, such as work requirements and premiums. Learn more about the Governor’s plan by visiting coverok.org. Even though the state said it was delaying the launch of SoonerCare 2.0, the proposal is still working its way through the federal approval process. The federal agency that oversees Medicaid is accepting public input on the proposal through Saturday. Please submit a comment to let federal officials know why the SoonerCare 2.0 proposal is bad for Oklahoma.
