Together Oklahoma will be holding its 2023 Day of Action at the Capitol on Tuesday, May 9, to help everyday Oklahomans engage with lawmakers and help build political power in our communities. Advocates from around the state will gather together at the Oklahoma Capitol in Oklahoma City to advocate for change that makes Oklahoma healthier, safer, more equitable, and more representative. Together Oklahoma Day of Action at the Capitol Tuesday, May 9, 2023 Second Floor Rotunda Oklahoma State Capitol 2300 N Lincoln Blvd. Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m. | Event starts at 10:00 a.m. |

During the event, we will share tools and resources, as well as arrange meetings with lawmakers. Lunch will be provided, and transportation to the capitol may be available from various locations statewide. The Day of Action is free, but advance registration is requested to help better connect participants with their lawmakers. Walk-up registrations on event day will also be available. "In the last weeks of the Legislative session, Together Oklahoma's Day of Action will be a perfect opportunity for Oklahomans to speak with lawmakers about the issues that matter most to them," said Together OK Legislative and Outreach Director Angela Monson. "The voices of constituents really do matter to lawmakers, and we want to make sure that all Oklahomans feel comfortable using their voice to create change. They should also see that their political power can be multiplied when they partner with other Oklahomans who share their vision for change." |
