During the event, we will share tools and resources, as well as arrange meetings with lawmakers. Lunch is provided, and transportation to the capitol may be available from various locations statewide. Drawings for gift cards will be held during the event. The Day of Action is free, but advance registration is requested to help better connect participants with their lawmakers. Walk-up registrations on event day will also be available. "The voices of constituents really do matter to lawmakers," said Together OK Legislative and Outreach Director Angela Monson. "We want to make sure that all Oklahomans feel comfortable using their voice to create change. They should also see that their political power can be multiplied when they partner with other Oklahomans who share their vision for change." |
