The search is to replace David Blatt, who has announcd his intention to step down as Executive Director later this year once a successor has been selected. The new ED is expected to be in the position by early fall of this year. OK Policy is looking for a dynamic leader who can build on the organization’s excellent reputation, cement its role as an integral part of Oklahoma’s nonprofit policy structure, and build the infrastructure to support the organization’s recent growth. Our ideal candidate for this position will be a strong manager and leader with a deep commitment to data and policy analysis and a track record of raising money from private foundations. Oklahoma Policy Institute, based in Tulsa, advances equitable and fiscally responsible policies aimed at expanding opportunity for all Oklahomans through research, analysis, and advocacy. Launched in 2008, the think-tank currently has a full-time staff of 16 and an annual $1.8 million budget raised through a combination of grant funding and individual donors.
