Friend, Have you heard the news? Last week, an initiative petition was filed to put health care expansion on the ballot in Oklahoma. It still needs to go through any legal challenges before signature-gathering can start. At the same time, legislators are having more conversations about expanding health coverage. With legislative action, we could get desperately needed coverage expansion under way this year instead of waiting for a ballot initiative in 2020 or beyond. That's why we are rallying this Wednesday, April 24, 10AM at the Capitol. Because Oklahomans like Kelly can't wait to get help for battles with MS and epilepsy or other serious illnesses. Because rural hospitals can't wait for the infusion of federal expansion funds that could mean the difference between survival and shutting down. Because all Oklahomans shouldn't have to wait another year to see our tax dollars come back to our state, not lose them to the 36 other states and Washington DC where they've already expanded coverage.
