Officials from the Oklahoma Health Care Authority have announced that they would be holding a “virtual public hearing” this afternoon to allow comment on the Governor’s health care proposal that could restrict health care coverage for hundreds of thousands of Oklahomans. When: Today - Wednesday, March 18 Time: 3:00 p.m. To register: https://okhca.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_G6UStxVZS3ud1Ovm0VwDSA OHCA has described this meeting as a way “to offer the public an opportunity to ask questions and provide comment” about Gov. Stitt’s health care proposal. Although at this point, it remains unclear how those who register for the meeting are to provide comment. As we find out more information, we will be sharing it via OK Policy’s Facebook and Twitter pages. We encourage everyone who cares about health care in Oklahoma to register for this meeting and tell the OHCA to pause the process as Oklahomans are rightfully turning their attention to a national health crisis.
